101 in the shade!

Yes, it is hard to believe but it is 101 degrees here in the shade today. I watered really well yesterday and this morning, but I am just watching all my spring blooms wither under the intense sun.

We are staying in, with the doors, windows and most curtins closed. It is 20 degrees cooler inside than out. With a few fans it is quite comforable.

Even the ice cream truck melted......
